Norfolk County : Possible Cuts Coming To NGH

The success of a province wide programs to keep seniors out of the hospital and in their homes is good news for them, bad news for area health care professionals. Norfolk General Hospital is preparing to cut the equivalent of six full-time staff positions because of the reduced need for complex continuing care. The cutting of costs could help the hospital as they try to budget for the upcoming year where at the most they will see a 2% increase in funding.
