After a horrific on-ice incident at a hockey game in Woodstock, a linesman is recovering after having his throat slashed by a skate. Kevin Brown is now out of the intensive care unit. The hockey community showed its support for Brown on Saturday night raising almost $6000 for a trust fund set up for him. In the wake of this event, the Ontario Hockey Association is making it mandatory for their officials to wear neck guards beginning February 1st.
