A local writer and editor has had a hand in putting together a new book about men without children. "Nobody's Father: Life Without Kids" combines the stories of about 25 men who - either by choice or by circumstance - are not fathers. Simcoe's Bruce Gillespie is the editor and a contributor to the book, which is aimed at bringing the issue into the open.Gillespie says they received essays from men from across North America and even Japan. He hopes the book will help other non-parents share sentiments, and for everyone to perhaps re-consider their own relationships with their parents. All this week, the Toronto Star is featuring excerpts from the book - which is printing this week and will soon be available at book stores everywhere and online.
