The fifth annual Norfolk County Heritage & Culture Dogwood Awards will be presented later this spring. Named after our official flower, these awards have been created to honour individuals and groups for their outstanding achievements and contributions to heritage and culture within Norfolk County.
We are very excited to announce that a new category has been added to this year’s Heritage & Culture Dogwood Awards which will honour youth under the age of 18 years.
Four awards will be presented. One in each of the following categories:
Individual Award Group Award Youth Award Lifetime Achievement Award Norfolk’s lively heritage and culture community has been built on the tireless efforts of countless dedicated individuals and groups. If you know someone whom you feel is deserving of acknowledgement for their hard work or innovation in this area, they could be a candidate for a Dogwood Award.
Anyone can submit a nomination. Forms with all the necessary information are available at Norfolk Heritage and Culture sites, the Heritage & Culture Division Administrative Office or on the County Website.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is Wednesday, February 29th, at 4:30 p.m.
