Ex-Cop Will Not Get Job Back

Human Rights Complaint Form

An ex Brantford Police officer will not be getting his job back after being video taped doing drugs while on the job.

As we told you yesterday, Jeffery Servos pled guilty back in 2009 to possession of cocaine after he was caught smoking crack cocaine and snorting Oxycontin in his cruiser.

Servos filed a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal earlier this year asking for either his job back or financial compensation saying he was discriminated against on the basis of a disability because he told his superiors of his drug problem.

The tribunal has ruled Servos is not entitled to compensation or his job but did suggest he may have a case should he refile complaining of discrimination and failure to accommodate his disability during employment.

I hope that he has the help he needs and can find another job. He burned his bridge in Brantford and with the public trust. Hopefully he can still make something of himself and fight his demons too.

He definately needs help.and yes hopefully he gets it,but the article also says he may still have a case if he refiles.complaining of discrimination or not getting the on job help, and if he did once, iam sure he will try again.
