According to the planning board of Grand Erie more people are finding jobs in the area.
The biggest numbers for job gains were in seasonal work, with farms, nurseries and swimming pool companies adding staff.
The 92 employers who participated reported a net gain of 96 jobs in May.
In manufacturing, there was a loss of 22 jobs, 17 at one company.
Nearly 70 percent of the employers who participated said their staffing level remained unchanged in May over April.
